RASCOM and Eurotranstelecom (ETT®) built a joint of their networks
International operators Eurotranstelecom and RASCOM arranged a joint of their own DWDM networks with a transmission capacity of up to 17,600 Gbit/s.
Organizing the joint is aimed at extending the partnership between the operators, continuing since 2006. The carriers make the geography of their own services much wider by integrating the Ukrainian and European segments into a single service network which complies with uniform quality standards. The key service provided by the carriers within the technically integrated network is the lease of international channels with the capacity from Nx10G to Nx100Gbit/s. The characteristic feature of the service is the possibility to make connection within short timeframes - up to 2 weeks, and, in case of urgent orders, any capacity from Lviv, Kharkiv and Kiev to Europe can be provided within 24 hours.
RASCOM and ETT®’s backbone DWDM networks are based on Ciena‘s OME6500 platform, and the network monitoring is carried out with the proprietary software systems. These factors lay in the basis of developing the joint service which ensures clear quality guarantees for customers.
By means of building the joint between RASCOM and ETT networks, there appears the possibility to organize 40G, 100G or 200G channels connecting the cities of Europe where RASCOM communication centers are located, with more than 150 ETT’s POPs, covering the entire territory of Ukraine.
